“Swing Batter, Batter, Batter, SWING”

Comedian and lifelong Yankee fan Billy Crystal took his own advice today but didn’t quite get the result he was looking for.
Crystal being granted the opportunity that all sports fans dream about (to play alongside their favorite players on their favorite team) looked the part in Yankee pinstripes but thats where it stopped. Batting leadoff (as the designated hitter) in the first inning Crystal, 60, actually worked the count to 3-1 nearly getting an official walk in a big league game. But on the next two pitches the comedian swung high, missing badly and finally getting struck out. Nevertheless the oldest rookie to ever start a game in MLB history will have this day to cherish for the rest of his life.

I need to get famous asap so i can get my chance to start at the point for the Knicks…i mean i’m ready right now but they’re not gonna call little old me. I bet i could score atleast 81 points in a game though, i just need to make sure everyone else has their hands tied behind their backs and their sneakers tied together.

Don’t down play your skills Romen. I’d bet money you’d single handedly lead the Knicks to a unprecedented victory! But really if I had fame and fortune I’d request to be Isiah for a day and make the whole team around Nate & Jamal.
